DESCRIPTION
Postcard of the Five Mile Drive in Keene New Hampshire. The 13 acres of woods were given to the city in 1923 by Mrs. Mary B. Dinsmoor for use as a public preserve. The giant pines were levelled by the hurricane of Sept.1938, but later the area was replanted.
The Five Mile Drive included Court, Maple, Park, and West streets and the Central Square.
